Part Terrier, Part…… House Elf?

<p><em>Poor Echo.&#0160;</em> He had a rough couple weeks playing host to a not-so-lovely little parasite.&#0160; But I do believe he is finally feeling like himself again, and I never thought I&#39;d say this, but I am glad to have my spazzy pain-in-the-rear puppy back.&#0160; I learned I&#39;d rather him be a pain-in-the-rear, than have a leaky-rear.&#0160; And THAT FACT deserves a quick high-five to our Vet,&#0160;for helping us out before we had spent our entire&#0160;wedding fund on resolve carpet cleaner&#0160;and febreeze air freshener.</p>
<p>WHEW!&#0160; Princeton House sure was SMELLY for a while there…&#0160; (So uncool, parasite.&#0160; SO UNCOOL!!)</p>
<div>In other news, I&#39;ve began obsessing over Echo&#39;s genetics lately.&#0160; Mostly because it seems that everyone who meets our&#0160;boy wants to know what kind of dog&#0160;he is, and Jeff and I never have a good answer to this question.&#0160; We&#39;ve had people tell us he looks like a whippet, a basenji, a shiba inu, a grey hound, and a couple people have gone so far as to say he looks like he might be part deer, or part fox…&#0160;&#0160; &#0160;</div>
<div>&#0160;</div>
<div><a href=”http://sj.blogs.com/.a/6a00d834521f8569e2015433039a84970c-popup” onclick=”window.open( this.href, &#39;_blank&#39;, &#39;width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0&#39; ); return false” style=”float: left;”><img alt=”Dobby” class=”asset asset-image at-xid-6a00d834521f8569e2015433039a84970c” src=”http://sj.blogs.com/.a/6a00d834521f8569e2015433039a84970c-320wi” style=”margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;” title=”Dobby” /></a> I can&#39;t put my finger on why (ha!) but, I kinda think he looks part house-elf and&#0160;I sometimes call him <em>Dobby</em> when no one is listening…</div>
<div>
<p>&#0160;</p>
<div>Alas, unless I can convince Jeff to let me order a <a href=”http://www.wisdompanel.com/” target=”_self”>Wisdom Panel Doggie DNA testing kit</a>, we may never&#0160;know&#0160;for sure.&#0160; Turns out Jeff is funny about&#0160;spending money on things like DNA tests for his pets <em>(who knew?)&#0160;</em></div>
<div>&#0160;</div>
<div>No matter, I suppose…&#0160; We love our little <span style=”text-decoration: line-through;”>Dobby</span> Echo whatever his genes may be…&#0160;</div>
<div>Happy Thursday!</div>
