I have this thing for blogs. I love them. I love peeking into other people’s lives. If you really start to pay attention, there are lots of people who have things to say + share that are worth hearing + seeing, and blogs are an incredibly cheap way to broadcast your thoughts, opinions, feelings, projects, art, [insert anything here.]
I’ve had a blog since – oh – about 1999 when I was a sophomore in college, and I took an HTML class, and learned how to make my own web page… Back then they weren’t called “blogs” though, and they were a LOT harder to maintain. Most of the time (back then, and still to this day) as I am about to publish something, I think to myself, ”who really cares?” but I always remind myself that if one person gets anything from what I’m saying or sharing, it was worth it.
All of this to say, I’m a bit bored and restless lately – as you probably gathered by the complete lack of posts here on my own blog. I need some new blogs to sprinkle into my rotation, and to rekindle my love for this little hobby. So, I invite you all to share your favorites here!

It’s super funny though, and has some great dog photography. Do you ever read the pioneer woman’s blog? That is pretty great too! And Jasmine Star. And Joey Lawrance. And Zack Arias. Ummm, yeah, they’re all photography, lol, sorry! Milagro Girl. Notebook Doodles. The Image Is Found (both pro and personal sites are great). Oh, and there is this other one called Princeton House that is pretty great too 
Dee - keep on blogging. as you say, people have things to say + share that are worth hearing. you never know when one little piece of info, kind word, or funny story will make someone’s day. i’ve been following your story in the background for a long time. we even exchanged an email maybe around 2008 when things were in flux for you. everyone has a story including me. the early chapters in my journey were very similar to yours… so as you plan this wedding i hope that you be as lucky as i have been and have an incredible journey with j as i have had this second time rounding the corner on 23 years. hugs to you.
