i’ve been missing…

Maybe it's the chill that has settled into the air the last few days which is making me crave scarves and mittens. Maybe it's that knitting seems to wrap me in warm memories of my Grandmother. Maybe it's that I cleaned my bedroom yesterday and found a stash in my closet from last year that I had forgotten all about…

But I have been missing yarn a lot…

Even Jacob asked the other day: "how come you never knit anymore?"

Time flies when you're having fun, and lately finding the time to do anything creative has been tough. But, I am longing for some knitting needles, and a few hours of free time to sit and do nothing but zone out into a scarf or a pair of socks… Something about it is so good for my soul.

<span style=”font-size: 12px; font-family: Verdana;”>I might just have to pencil it in somewhere… <span style=”font-size: 12px; font-family: Verdana;”>

Meg - I recently taught myself to knit after years of crocheting and just finished a sweater for Katie. Now I’m a knitting fiend and I’ve been hoarding yarn. I could blow and entire paycheck in the yarn store.
